My kids laugh when I describe myself as a sixty something rookie.

It’s not that I’m a complete stranger to art; the Architecture program that I graduated from was coupled strongly with the Arts program.  It did take a minute (30 years or so) to find the time to re-discover my artistic core, but I have been enjoying that aspect of my life immensely.

 

I’ve always loved being outside, and in the mountains in particular.  As a skier and fly fisherman living in Calgary, that puts me at the remarkable intersection of stunning and often untouched wilderness.  Those experiences permeate my art, and allow me a certain perspective that you can’t get from the pavement.

I’m working on finding a great gallery to pair with, but right now, I’m widely represented on the main floor of my house as well as the homes of my children and close friends.
